She’s beautiful! I just loooooooooove cats but this is one animal I just couldn’t figure out how to make myself! Thanks for sharing – can’t wait to see how she turns out! ๐
This is sucha cool pattern, but I’ve run into problems with the center piece that connects the 2 head pieces. It’s too short! I printed everything to the right size, so I’m not sure where I went wrong. Any advice? Thanks a million!
Hi Heather, because it is felt, it has quite a bit of stretch to it, so to get it to fit, start sewing at the bottom of the head, then sort of pull the rest around the head to see how it will eventually sew on, you should be able to manouvre it to fit, either by working more to the inside or outside of the main piece. Once you have it right, you can even pin the end so that you keep stretching it to fit right. Hope that helps some? : )
Can someone tell me what exactly cake wire is & where to get it? I’m new to all of this & couldn’t find a reference to it anywhere! This kitty looks too cute, so I HAVE to try it. ๐
Hi Winder, cake wire can be bought at cake decorating shops, its packaged wire that comes in various thicknesses and is wrapped in paper. You can get something similar from florists as well : )
I’ve made several of your “pets,” and a bunch of these kitties! I love them. I made the tail a bit longer, since I like things to be EXTRA, and added stripes to some. So much fun. Thank you!
Totally love the cat. I will definitely have to give it a go. Thanks so much for sharing!! Hugs – Terri (US Hawaii)

awesome, thank you! ๐
Thanks for this…just finished mine and she looks wicked!!!
Ps Winder – I used pipe cleaners instead of cake wire as I was not able to find any, and that worked quite well for me!
These are amazing, thank you so much for the patterns. The cat will make a lovely gift when I finish.
